Planning a traditional painting of this one so wanted to solve a bunch of value problems first. It is so relaxing to do these things, I think ten years ago the reason I couldn’t get these done is I was way too hyper. Drawing from life in the sketchbooks suited me then. My patience level and enjoyment of staying on one piece for a bit has gone up a bit I think. Anyways, look forward to the painting. Hope everyone is doing well!!
