It has been a while since I have posted on here and I wanted to give some sort of update.
I’ve been posting what I learn about drawing and painting at the Nomads Draw Blog
Here are a few of the pages from those posts.
The past ten years, I have spent surfing 3rd point Malibu and I can finally paint the pier with some kind of confidence.
Been using a Cintiq at work and trying to get better with my digital work and find a way to work that I can enjoy and not be frustrated by clicking around too much. These are a few color studies and whatnot.
Have also been working on perfecting my working method for rendering my figure drawings.

I ran across an earlier post “Old Man Surfing” (June 24, 2009) & I would like to discuss getting permission to use it.

Hi Craig,
Love your work. What media are you working with live or digital…?
I work in the Motocross industry as a designer.

Hi Bossa…I work in a bit of everything. My day job requires me to work on a Cintiq and everything there is digital. So at home I use everything I can get my hands on. Watercolor, oil, gouache, charcoal, pen and ink, grey markers, etc…
Do you have a site with your work…would love to check it out!
